I really wanted this photo to look like an old photograph or postcard, and I'm pretty pleased with the end result! The in world phototools have a lot of versatility to them if you're willing to sit down and experiment for a good long while!

This gorgeous bridge (and the lantern silhouetted in the back) are both by LORE from the current round of Genre. These gorgeous landscaping pieces will only be discounted for the duration of the event, so make sure you get them sooner rather than later! Each bridge and lantern come in 3 color options - plain, aged, and mossy. The mossy version of the bridge is honestly going to come in handy for fantasy stuff too, so I definitely recommend that one!

Wrap Me In My Daydreams

Is there any event quite like Lootbox? I always find myself looking forward to it, while my wallet cries from the moment I teleport in.

For this round, Storybook has released a stunning set of warrior silks, called Zephyr. A full set would consist of panties, silk wrap, spear, and shield. There are two rare Lootbox colors of the wrap, which in my opinion in a showstopper, but there are also a ton of gorgeous colors that are commons (including this blue one I'm wearing).

The fit on this set is phenomenal, as is the texturing; look at that metallic shine on those panties!

If you're like me and love to match small stuff, pick up the Gosalyn nail polish set by [The Plastik], found at The Kawaii Project's current round. One of the nail colors perfectly matched my rose gold panties, and it made me ridiculously happy.

The Birdcage

Genre's newest round is inspired by eastern Asia and the rich cultures and history found there. Everything found at Genre is at least 25% off for the duration of the event, so make sure you check it out - there are ALWAYS good deals to be found. 

 I was really lucky in that two of my friends immediately said they'd be my models for a couple of group photos, which I love more than anything!

I'd love to focus on the folding screen in the back by Tsuru's Artifacts - not only is it lovely as a static object, but it folds and unfolds at a click! I adore little features like that. This lovely screen would work great as a privacy partition or in a doorway. Also by Tsuru's Artifacts is the pretty wall scroll to the left!

Also lovely is the side table by Mirage Treasure Co. The texture and detail on it are beautiful!

The table and chairs my friends are sitting at/on is by Anachron... so you know the texture is nice and the chair cushions are nicely patterned! The multiple sits are also animated, which is a really nice touch.

We're Just Two Lost Souls Swimming In A Fishbowl

The Betta Aquariums set by HEXtraordinary, currently found at The Arcade, makes me smile so big. They have a pretty extensive list of small pet gachas, and this one is my new favorite!There are tons of colors of male and female betta fish to collect, as well as some adorable snails! They are all animated on their own, and also can be activated with each of the rare aquariums to adventure in their little space! my favorite is the Brass Aquarium; I love the curly legs it stands on. The 25 pull reward is adorable - it's that grumpy lil fish in the baggy - it has both hold and rez versions!

I paired this set with the Vindeluna decor set by Plastik, which is also at The Arcade! The details and texturing on this set is beyond gorgeous, and honestly the commons are as pretty as the rares!

My gorgeous friend Lix, on the left, is wearing the Ask hair by Lamb, also (big surprise!) found at The Arcade. This hair is gorgeous. Lix and I usually have different taste in hair, but we both LOVE this style!

Rarest Specimens

I am in love with the Vindeluna decor set by [The Plastik], which is available at the current round of The Arcade for 75L per pull. The set combines industria, obscura, and some truly amazing texturing. For reference, The two avatars are full size! I had a lot of fun making everything else giant-sized for the photo set. The Vindeluna items' texturing held up to being scaled amazing well, and really showed off the details. Also, which I personally find pretty fantastic, the items didn't jump up in prims when resized!

Summer Strumming

I have one word for you. No... two. MERKITTIES. UKULELES. Guys, seriously!

I didn't play a TON of machines at this round of The Arcade, but the ones I did, I hit HARD. But when there's a gorgeous bikini set, a ukulele, and merkitties to get.. what choice did I really have?

You can't lose playing the Birdy machine, honestly. The bikinis fit great, the accessories are gorgeous, and the tattoo is worth every Linden I spent to get it!

I did soooo much trading to get the kitties in the snow tone that I wanted, too! So now I'm not only a crazy cat lady when on land :D

Also amazing are the ukuleles in the Reign machine. I own this wooden one and the pineapple one, and have zero regrets. They have a lovely Bento playing animation and a touch on/off sound that's really pleasant background noise!

Overall, I spent way more than planned at The Arcade... again. Big surprise!

Such Sweet Things

The Ittybitty Bikini set by Sweet Thing. at the newest round of The Arcade is AMAZING. A summer must-have, there are bikinis, accessories, and suuuper adorable floaties included! I am in love with the rezzable versions of the floaties - they come with a handful of animated sit poses, are wonderfully textured, and even rotate slowly (which you can turn off with one click). The pull price is 75$L, which is fair because of the superb fit and HUD the bikinis have.

Also featured above are the new scales by Cynefin - the ones I'm wearing are the fatpack exclusive; it's transparent, but when you have materials enabled, the scales shimmer in the light beautifully. It's an amazing set to have for merfolk, dragonkin, naga, and demons. The fatpack is 1500$L and in my opinion is beyond worth it!
